Some how i just snagged myself the cover of the latest Riptide Mag. Issue #186.

The shot was taken by Andy Lawrence in Canaries around the time of the IBA event. These days, i spend most of the year land locked here in London, so when i do get in the sea, it's a really treat. This was a special morning as it was just Jeff Hubb, Damian Prisk and myself out, slightly cross shore, but with some massive, fun ramps.

I still can't quite believe it, it's a really honour to be on the cover. Thanks guys.

We went for a little trip to Portrush in Northern Ireland this weekend for the first stop on the British Bodyboard tour. Waves were fun, comp was great and the best man won. Took a few snap whilst being on the road. Went through Wales, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scottland and back into England. silly.

longest journey i've ever had. took me 32 hours to get home. halfway over the atlantic our captain decided we had a maintenance problem and that we we're turning around and going back to Chicago. i felt for Seamus Makim who i met in the airport, on top of what i had to do, he had to then fly onto Madrid then to Lanzarote. crazy. at least he has an epic beard.

The British legend, Damian Prisk, is at here at the moment, with his lady to be, Mary and their cute kid Wilbur. He's been a bit of a white knight, hiding in the shadows, only surfing at dusk and dawn, but I managed to track him down today, ripping it up at the front of his pad at Monster mush!!

I could swim at keiki all day every day. it's my vice. it's what gets me through my days on the Northshore. it's great way to get away from the crowds and the pressure.

Saying that, today, it had every good booger in hawaii out there, from Jase Finlay to Mike (Eppo) Eppleston. its was so fun.

Sooo annoying when someone tries to die on the plane and you have to be diverted 2 hours in the wrong direction, to Minneapolis. I'm not being mean, the air hostess that got rushed off our plane turned out to be fine and i also managed to get some pretty snowy snaps from the air.
